The idea of this music blog (headed with art by Reece Hobbins) is to archive Annie Mac’s mini mixes. I found it a little disheartening that the BBC takes them down after 7 days, hence the title of the blog. When I wrote to the beeb about this they stated that it’s a general rule from the legal department to take down any audio content on a weekly basis. I assume this is to prevent them getting in trouble with the record companies and the artists whose work was used in the remix.
So I took it into my own hands. Each week as soon as the BBC takes it down I’ll rehost it here. Because everyone knows it’s super fashionable to be late to the party.
I didn’t get to go to One Big Weekend this year so I missed out on seeing two Justice sets, but I will link to an old mix they did at the Miami Winter Music Conference a month ago. It totally opened my eyes to them.
